The Cryptic beer lounge
The Cryptic Beer Lounge is the newest addition to Kelsen Brewing — a spacious lounge featuring craft beer on tap, light bites, and laid-back outdoor seating.
While The Cryptic Beer Lounge is new, The Cryptic Project has been part of Kelsen since 2017. It started as a passion project focused on experimental sours, mixed culture beers, and spontaneously fermented wild ales — and now, it finally has a home of its own!
We have six beers on tap, plus a limited menu featuring pretzel bites, Italian sausages, popcorn, and more.
Come say hi and enjoy a pint in the beer garden!

Battle Axe (IPA) – 7.2% ABV
Highly drinkable IPA with strong hop flavors, fresh citrus hop aroma.
Mercator (Belgian Tripel) – 8.5% ABV
Crisp, clean, and spice forward with a soft, creamy mouthfeel.
Verdant (Maibock Style Lager) – 7% ABV
Celebrate the change of seasons with a malty aroma, a creamy mouthfeel, and a crisp, slightly floral finish.
*Ethereal (Sour) – 5.2% ABV*
A smooth, tart sour ale brewed with 27 Teas ginger-peach herbal tea.
*Innocuous (Sour) – 4.6% ABV*
This is a one-of-a-kind sour ale infused with coffee and blueberry.
Day Raider (Belgian White) – 5.2% ABV
A refreshing wheat beer brewed with oats, pilsner, malted wheat, and our blend of orange peel, coriander, and chamomile.
